Candace Able

Candace knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career dedicated to helping others. After graduating from Auburn University Montgomery in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and an ABA Paralegal Certificate, she began her career in the legal industry through court reporting. Over the next fifteen years, she gained extensive experience and industry knowledge while serving in a variety of roles, including scheduling, production, office management, senior scheduling, and sales.

At the beginning of 2026, Candace decided it was time for a change that would provide a better balance for her family. Having known Cathrine for several years, the timing finally felt right, and she joined Cathrine and Chris at Sanspree & Moncus as a paralegal. This opportunity has proven to be the most rewarding experience of her professional career. In her short time with the firm, Candace has already gained invaluable experience, including participating in two trial victories, attending prison depositions, and assisting with mediation. She looks forward to continuing to learn, grow, and contribute to the firm’s success in the years ahead.

Outside of work, Candace enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, their foster daughter, and their two energetic pets, Andy the dog and Marry the cat. In her free time, she loves reading and relaxing with her family on their boat at Lake Jordan.
